Education

Northwestern University, USA

Master of Music in Conducting, 1988. Was the first Italian winner of a Rotary International Foundation music scholarship. Study under Frederick Ockwell, Victor Yampolsky, and Arnold Jacobs. During this period in Chicago, was also privileged to study under Sir Georg Solti at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Orchestral Conducting Diploma, under the guidance of Maestro Ghennadi Rozhdestvensky, 1988.

Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi”, Milan (Italy)

Diploma in Tuba, 1974, under the guidance of Bruno Ferrari. Diploma in Piano, 1975, under the guidance of Ilonka Deckers Kussler. Composition studies with Irlando Danieli.
