You are the Puppeteer
Try looking at this a different way. Instead of viewing yourself as a puppet, with some strange unknowable puppeteer pulling your strings, imagine yourself as the puppeteer. Everything you see around you is subjective, meaning that it’s based solely on the way you perceive it. After all, a person you view as “crazy” lives with an entirely different reality than you do. Who’s to say which reality is real?
The strange thing about this idea is that, even though you’re the puppeteer, you still don’t really have control. You just have to accept that nothing is controllable, nothing is knowable, and the only thing that you know exists is yourself. Even the perception of fate is something intrinsic to the way YOU view the “world.”
