We are similar to God
Human beings, created as they are in the image of God, are, in essence, pure spirit. So, why did they come to earth? To study, to explore matter, for this is how they will develop their brain’s full potential. During this descent, their five senses, the intermediaries between spirit and matter, acquired such importance that humans eventually lost their consciousness of the divine world; they severed the link with it, and they now no longer even feel its presence, and this has obviously impoverished them a great deal. Even so, humanity’s contact with matter will remain an extraordinary acquisition.
It is part of cosmic Intelligence’s plan to lead human beings to perfection. When they have passed through the opaqueness of matter, through illness and death, they will return to the true life, to light and freedom, strengthened by these experiences, and it is then they will fully know their Creator.
