Artists, mystics and initiates
Artists, mystics and initiates are three categories of beings with one important point in common: they contribute to the spiritual advancement of humanity. Artists do so by their masterpieces, mystics by their virtues, and initiates by their light.
Artists strive to present ever more beautiful and harmonious forms on the physical plane. Mystics concentrate on the moral domain and initiates on the domain of ideas, of principles. Beings in these three categories come together in their desire to help humans progress, the first working on form, the second on content and the third on meaning.
Their activities correspond to the three essential principles which constitute the human being: the body (artists), the soul (mystics), and the spirit (initiates).
