Look Higher
Summit: try to reach it only in your spiritual life.
In our inner life, our spiritual life, we should wish for a place at the King’s side, but in the affairs of the world it is better not to aspire to such a high position. If you are really needed, they are sure to find you, but there is no guarantee you will be very happy, weighed down by the responsibilities and cares that inevitably besiege those who occupy the highest positions in business, politics, and so on.
True initiates do not seek a high position, but, inwardly, they aim so high, you won’t even be able to see that far. Like them, accept a modest place in society if destiny does not present you with anything more glorious, but in your spiritual life try to raise yourself up as high as possible.
